Local levy dollars cover the difference between the funding provided by the state and federal government, and the true cost of operating our school district.

In 2022, voters in the Issaquah School District approved three levy measures to help continue funding for programs and positions not fully paid for by the state, such as school nurses, counselors and mental health supports, special education, and safety and security; as well as technology and critical repairs. These funding measures help us ensure equal access to education for all of our students. Without approval of the renewals from voters in 2026, the funding will go away.  Read more here
