The school district has a long history of neighborly action regarding the specific local of HS 4 and its surrounding communities. To the tune of $15.9 million in concessions (see image slide), and multiple attempts to “come to the table” with discourse and compromise.
Are you seeing some “no” signs out there? Let’s think about this critically and TRUTHFULLY. The bond package was reduced by 63% from the November package. From $642.3 million to $231.6 million. The TRUTH is it keeps the combined tax rate of $3.09 per $1,000 assessed property value stable!
