School Board Work Study Session to Focus on Possible School Bond – Wed., Sept. 9
The public is invited to attend the Issaquah School Board’s work study session on Wednesday, September 9 at 6:00 p.m. in the ISD Administration boardroom located at 565 NW Holly St., Issaquah.
The work study session will take place prior to the regular board meeting, which will start at 7:00 p.m. The board will discuss the recent proposal brought forward by the Superintendent, Ron Thiele, for a school bond package that includes property acquisition for, and construction of, a new comprehensive high school, new middle school, and two new elementary schools, as well as the rebuild of Pine Lake Middle School and several other major projects. Public input will not be taken during the work study session, however, the school board invites constituents to voice their thoughts, comments, and opinions by contacting the board members directly by email or emailing comments to Bond2016@issaquah.wednet.edu.
