Update Jan. 9th
Volunteers for Issaquah Schools Campaign Update
Less than 5 weeks until the election! This will be a busy month!
Lit Drop
The lit drop pieces are ready for distribution. Leslie Warrick will hand them out at the end of the January 16 PTSA Council meeting at the Issaquah Police Station – if you have to leave early please let her know. If you can’t attend the meeting or would like to have the pieces sooner contact Leslie at jimandleslie@ihmail.com to arrange pickup or drop off. We hope to have the pieces “dropped” (no doorbell ringing necessary) by the 27th of January or as soon thereafter as possible.
Preschool Outreach
Everyone who signed up to distribute flyers received them before vacation. If you have an extra hour or two to drop off flyers to additional preschools contact Neva Luke at bigmom2g@msn.com. We would like to have them delivered by January 25.
Help distribute Issaquah Chamber of Commerce Vote Yes posters to local businesses
Volunteers are needed to help distribute Issaquah Chamber posters to local businesses. We will launch this effort at 11:00 am on Monday, January 13 at the Chamber office, 155 NW Gilman Blvd.
Mark Your Calendars for Honk & Wave on January 30th and February 10th
We will need volunteers to wave signs at 13 key intersections in the District from 6:30 – 8:30 AM and 5:00 – 7:00 PM both days.
Magnets
Parent and teacher building reps should have more to distribute. If you need some contact Suzanne Weaver at sgweav@comcast.net or pick them up at the January 16 PTSA Council meeting. Now is the time to put them on your cars!
Yard Signs
They are going up between now and the weekend of January 18-19 at key intersections and on major roads.
